This innovative online conference brings together international media creators and young people, promoting youth’s media skills and creativity.
"Youth Meets Media of UA:PBC" is an international virtual meet-up for youth and adults interested in the media and who want to meet international media and information literacy (MIL) experts from Moldova, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Serbia, Guatemala and Cambodia, or who just want to create something new.
This event is co-organized by the Public Media Academy Juniors of UA:PBC and DW Akademie as part of "Support to the National Public Broadcaster in Ukraine", a project funded by the EU and Germany's Federal Foreign Office.
International experts and masterclasses
The three-day meet-up gives the opportunity to learn storytelling from Ukrainian and international experts - everything from brainstorming the idea, developing characters to creating a storyboard.
Participants can try out diverse formats and platforms, including radio and podcasts, TV, photography and filmmaking. Ukrainian participants can interact with MIL peers in DW Akademie’s focus countries and learn more about their initiatives. UA:PBC, DW and DW Akademie media makers will be offering masterclasses in storytelling and other formats.
