In terms of prerequisites, what do you mean when you say "initial journalistic experience"?

Our trainees undertake placements in DW editorial departments right from the start so it's essential that you have some journalistic experience. As this is a trimedia traineeship, it's an advantage if you have already gained experience in online, radio and television.
