Application Process

Applications for the fall intake starting in September 2025 will open on November 15th 2024 until March 15th 2025.

Please note that only applications submitted through our online platform Apollo will be accepted.

First step: Prepare your documents

Don't just click the "apply now button". Make sure you know everything you need to know about the application process. For more information about what to include in your motivation letter, check the FAQ "What should the motivation letter contain?" For details about the CV format check the FAQ "How do I apply online and which documents do I need?"

Please also provide us with proof of your academic degree(s) and transcripts, as well as your work experience. Did you work as a freelancer? Don't worry, this also counts as work experience. The FAQ "How can I submit proof of my work experience as a freelancer?" will tell you more.

There are still some more documents to prepare. You can find answers to how to prove your English skills in the FAQ titled "How can I submit proof of my language skills?". Visit the DAAD website for additional information about the scholarship and how to apply for it.

Second step: It's time for the online application via Apollo

Now you can hit the "apply now button". But what to do exactly? You can find a step-by-step guide for the online application process via Apollo under the FAQ "How do I apply online and which documents do I need?"

Third step: It's our turn now. The selection process begins

Now it is our turn to take a look at all the applications we have received. For more information about the selection process check the FAQs "How does the selection process work?" and "When and how will I know if I have been accepted into the program?"
