How much international experience does DW Akademie's Media Training department have? What qualifications do the trainers have?

We have been conducting workshops in numerous countries in Europe, Asia and Africa for more than 10 years. Many of our trainers and consultants have extensive international experience and bring with them wide-ranging intercultural expertise.

DW Akademie itself has 50 years of experience in international projects and consulting, and our Media Training department continues to benefit from DW Akademie projects held all over the world. We also draw on the expertise of DW Akademie's regional and country coordinators, as well on our close cooperation with Deutsche Welle's editorial desks, which offer expertise and analysis in 30 languages.

What qualifications do the trainers have?

Our trainers, consultants and coaches are media professionals and experts in the transfer of know-how and practical skills. They have extensive experience both in Germany and abroad and come from cultures corresponding to the workshop focus. Our trainers include hosts and reporters from various broadcasters.

All trainers and consultants have completed DW Akademie's extensive training program and regularly take advantage of Deutsche Welle's internal staff training opportunities.
