Global Freedom of Expression database

The Columbia University database comprises case law and court rulings on freedom of expression from over 60 countries as well as background information.

Apart from legal texts the database, povided by the Global Freedom of Expression Initiative at Columbia University in New York City, includes analyses provided by freedom of expression experts. The resource has been launched in June 2015 and is supported by an international network of scholars. It aims at reinforcing global understanding of freedom of expression jurisprudence and "support the development of international norms and institutions protecting the free flow of information". Columbia University plans a constant expansion of the database.
