In early November the "Karolina do Norte" travelled down the Amazon river in Brazil. Her destination: the climate conference COP30 in Belém.

On board the Karolina do Norte, around 100 Indigenous community reporters, climate activists, scientists and artists gathered to discuss ethics and practices of a rainforest journalism rooted in local storytelling and sustainable technologies.

The boat was chartered by the local NGO PSA - Projeto Saúde e Alegria and the Amazon media network SUMAÚMA Jornalismo.
