Food safety and water scarcity were at the core of DW Akademie’s project "Pop Up Think Tank" in Tunisia.

More than 122 journalists, experts, entrepreneurs, and young people came together to discuss Tunisia’s environmental problems and explore solutions. Emna Jebeli, one of the participants, earned a production stipend.

On February 9, the Pop Up Think Tank Tunis officially launches with an opening ceremony.
Why do we need environmental journalism?

The Pop Up furniture is sustainable and was developed by the Tunisian start-up The Lims.
Custom made, practical and sustainable

The space was designed according to the participants’ ideas in an Idea Lab held in September 2022.
Finding ideas and inspiration

Participants exchanged topics with experts in different formats and activities during the Panel Super Day in February. During movie nights, environmental movies were shown and participants were introduced to cinematic storytelling.
